Gwangjang Market

A traditional market in Jongno District, founded by Korean merchants in 1905 as Dongdaemun Market, the city's first market open every day, and renamed in 1960. Its covered lanes hold textile, clothing, household and food vendors, and the central food stalls serve bindaetteok mung-bean pancakes, mayak gimbap and noodle soup.
