Alaska SeaLife Center

The Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, on the shore of Resurrection Bay, is a public aquarium and marine research centre opened in 1998, partly funded from the Exxon Valdez oil spill settlement. Visitors see Steller sea lions, harbour seals, a giant Pacific octopus and puffins in a large seabird habitat, and the centre rescues and treats stranded marine animals.
