Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization

The Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization occupies the former Souq Al Majarrah, a domed market building on the Al Majarrah waterfront in the Heart of Sharjah. Opened here in 2008, it shows more than 5,000 objects from across the Islamic world, including manuscripts, ceramics, metalwork, coins and scientific instruments, in galleries on faith, science and art.
