Orchard Road

Orchard Road is a 2.5-kilometre street in central Singapore, named after the nutmeg, pepper and fruit orchards it once led to in the 19th century. Today it is the city's main shopping street, lined with department stores, malls, hotels and restaurants, with underground walkways between the malls and three MRT stations along its length.
