Cabo da Roca

Cabo da Roca is a cape on the Atlantic coast of the Sintra municipality and the westernmost point of mainland Europe. Its cliffs rise more than 100 metres above the sea; a stone monument marks the point, and the Cabo da Roca lighthouse, in service since 1772, stands just inland of it.
