Preikestolen

Preikestolen is a cliff rising 604 metres above the Lysefjord, about 26 km east of Stavanger in Strand Municipality, with a nearly flat top of about 25 by 25 metres. It is reached on a marked trail of about 4 km each way from Preikestolen Fjellstue, a round trip of 3–4 hours, and can also be seen from below on boat trips through the Lysefjord.
