Sydney Zoo
Sydney Zoo opened in December 2019 in Bungarribee, in Western Sydney, about 38 km west of the city centre. Its 16.5-hectare site is laid out in precincts for Africa, Asia, Australia and the primates, with an aquarium and a reptile and nocturnal house; animals range from lions and chimpanzees to koalas, kangaroos and quokkas.
