Rainbow Village

Rainbow Village is a former military dependents' village in Taichung's Nantun District whose last few houses were painted from 2008 by the veteran Huang Yung-fu with birds, animals and figures in bright colours. Saved from demolition after a student campaign in 2010, it is kept by the city as a small art park around the painted houses and lanes.
