Taiwan Coal Mine Museum

The Taiwan Coal Mine Museum, also called the New Pingxi Coal Mine Museum, preserves a colliery in Pingxi District, New Taipei, that worked until 1997. Visitors see the pithead buildings and mining equipment, walk into a short section of tunnel and ride the former coal-hauling electric locomotive line through the valley.
