Yangmingshan National Park

Yangmingshan National Park, established in 1985, covers the volcanic Datun mountains on Taipei's northern edge, including Qixing Mountain, the highest point of the city at 1,120 metres. Trails lead past fumaroles, grassy summits such as Qingtiangang, hot springs and seasonal displays of cherry blossom and calla lilies.
