Tampere Cathedral

Tampere Cathedral is a Lutheran stone church in the National Romantic style, designed by Lars Sonck and built in 1902–1907 as St John's Church. Inside are frescoes by Hugo Simberg, among them The Wounded Angel and The Garden of Death, and an altarpiece by Magnus Enckell. It is the seat of the Diocese of Tampere.
