Villa Gregoriana

Villa Gregoriana is a wooded park in the Aniene gorge below the old acropolis of Tivoli, laid out from 1835 under Pope Gregory XVI after the river bed was rebuilt following the flood of 1826. Paths lead down to the Great Waterfall and the caves of Neptune and the Sirens and up to the Roman Temple of Vesta. FAI has run it since it reopened in 2005.
