Shinjuku Gyo-en

Shinjuku Gyo-en is a national garden of 58.3 hectares in Shinjuku and Shibuya, Tokyo, laid out on the Edo-period estate of the Naitō family. It became an imperial garden and opened to the public in 1949; today it combines a Japanese traditional garden, an English landscape garden and a French formal garden, with a tea house and a greenhouse of tropical plants.
