historic building · Treviso The Palazzo dei Trecento is a brick civic palace on Piazza dei Signori in Treviso, built in the early 13th century as the meeting hall of the city's Greater Council of three hundred members. Nearly destroyed by Allied bombing in 1944 and rebuilt, it is the seat of the city council; its ground-floor loggia is open to passers-by.

The Fontana delle Tette is a fountain in Treviso made in 1559 for the Venetian podestà Alvise Da Ponte after a drought. It shows a woman pressing water from her breasts; under Venetian rule it poured red and white wine at civic celebrations. A 1989 copy stands in a courtyard off Calmaggiore, and the original is kept under the Palazzo dei Trecento loggia.

Treviso Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Peter, is the seat of the bishop of Treviso. The church dates back to the 6th century; it was rebuilt in Neoclassical style from 1768, keeping the Romanesque crypt, and its columned portico was added in 1836. Inside, the Malchiostro Chapel holds an Annunciation by Titian and frescoes by Pordenone.
