The Fork is an eight-metre stainless steel fork standing in Lake Geneva just off the Vevey quay, in front of the Alimentarium. The Swiss artist Jean-Pierre Zaugg made it in 1995 for the museum's tenth anniversary; it was removed in 1996 and put back about ten years later after a public petition. It is seen from the lakeside promenade.
