House of Strauss

The House of Strauss is a museum of the Strauss family of composers in the Casino Zögernitz in Döbling, a Biedermeier dance hall opened in 1837. About 2,000 m² of multimedia rooms trace how Johann Strauss father and son, Josef and Eduard shaped the Viennese waltz, ending with a short show in the historic ballroom where all four performed.
