Gereja Ayam

Gereja Ayam is a dove-shaped prayer house on Rhema Hill near Borobudur in Magelang, Central Java, north-west of Yogyakarta. Daniel Alamsjah began building it in 1992 after a vision in 1988, and locals nicknamed it the Chicken Church. Its seven floors hold prayer rooms open to all faiths, and a café looks out over the hills.
