Yokohama Marine Tower is a 106-metre lattice tower beside Yamashita Park, opened in 1961 and long used as a lighthouse for the port. Its observation floors on levels 29 and 30, about 100 metres up, look over the harbour and, on clear days, to Mount Fuji. The city restored the tower, which reopened in 2022.

The Shin-Yokohama Ramen Museum opened in 1994 in Yokohama's Kōhoku Ward as a museum devoted to ramen. The ground floor covers the dish's history and the noodles, soups, toppings and bowls used across Japan, while the basement floors recreate a Tokyo streetscape of 1958, where branches of regional ramen shops serve their bowls.
