Kasprowy Wierch Cable Car

The cable car from Kuźnice in Zakopane to Kasprowy Wierch (1,987 m) opened in 1936 as the first of its kind in Poland. It runs in two sections via Myślenickie Turnie, climbing 936 m over about 4.3 km, and its cabins carry up to 60 people since a rebuild completed in 2007. The whole line lies within the Tatra National Park.
