Pinacoteca Comunale

The Pinacoteca Comunale is Assisi's civic picture gallery, on the main floor of Palazzo Vallemani in Via San Francesco. Opened in 1912, it holds frescoes and panel paintings from the city's churches and civic buildings, among them a Maestà attributed to Giotto or a follower, a room of works by Tiberio d'Assisi and frescoes by Ottaviano Nelli from the pilgrims' hospital.
