Asti Cathedral

Asti Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and to Saint Gotthard, is the seat of the Diocese of Asti and, at 82 metres long, one of the largest churches in Piedmont. The Gothic brick church keeps capitals from the early 14th century and a Romanesque bell tower rebuilt from 1266. Its walls and vaults are covered with frescoes from the early 18th century.
