Torre Troyana

The Torre Troyana is a 44-metre medieval tower on Piazza Medici in Asti, completed between 1260 and 1280 by the Troya banking family and later joined to the palace of the city's government. It ends in swallowtail battlements under a metal cupola that covers a working clock. Visitors climb its 199 steps to a view over the roofs of Asti.
