Acropolis Museum

The Acropolis Museum, opened in 2009 at the foot of the Acropolis, displays the finds from the rock and its slopes, from the Bronze Age to Roman times. The top-floor Parthenon Gallery sets the surviving frieze and metopes in their original order, and glass floors show the excavated Roman and Byzantine neighbourhood beneath the building.
