About Atlanta
Atlanta is the capital of Georgia, a city of museums and parks where Martin Luther King Jr. was born and preached. Centennial Olympic Park, built for the 1996 Olympics, is ringed by the Georgia Aquarium, the World of Coca-Cola, the College Football Hall of Fame and the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. On Auburn Avenue, the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park keeps his birth home and Ebenezer Baptist Church. Midtown has the High Museum of Art, the Fox Theatre and Piedmont Park beside the Atlanta Botanical Garden, and Zoo Atlanta lies in Grant Park. Two or three days cover the main sights.
