Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Fernbank Museum of Natural History in the Druid Hills area east of downtown Atlanta opened in 1992. Its atrium displays casts of an Argentinosaurus, one of the largest known dinosaurs, and a Giganotosaurus; the permanent exhibition A Walk Through Time in Georgia tells the natural history of the state. Behind the museum, WildWoods and Fernbank Forest offer trails and elevated walkways.
