Wat Phutthaisawan

Wat Phutthaisawan is a working temple on the south bank of the Chao Phraya opposite Ayutthaya's old city, founded in 1353 by King U Thong at Wiang Lek, where he first settled before founding the capital. A white Khmer-style prang stands at its centre inside a cloister lined with gilded Buddha images, and it survived the sack of 1767.
