Bayeux War Cemetery

Bayeux War Cemetery is the largest Commonwealth cemetery of the Second World War in France, with 4,648 graves, most of them soldiers killed in the Battle of Normandy in 1944, as well as over 500 graves of other nationalities. Rows of white headstones surround a Cross of Sacrifice by Sir Reginald Blomfield; the Bayeux Memorial to the missing stands opposite.
