Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy

The Memorial Museum of the Battle of Normandy in Bayeux, opened in 1981, traces the 77 days of fighting in Normandy from 7 June to 29 August 1944 in chronological order. It shows uniforms, weapons and military vehicles, with rooms on the Resistance, de Gaulle and the medical services, and screens a film of archive footage.
