Torre dell'Orologio
The Torre dell'Orologio is the 13th-century tower of the jurist Accursio's house, kept when the city built Palazzo d'Accursio around it on Piazza Maggiore. It was raised in 1444–1451 to carry the city clock, whose dial is 6.4 m wide, and given its domed lantern in 1493. Since 2020 visitors climb to its terrace with the municipal art collections.
