Tour Tanguy

The Tour Tanguy is a 14th-century round tower with a conical slate roof on a rocky mound on the Recouvrance bank of the Penfeld, facing the Château de Brest. Owned by the city since 1954, it houses a museum of old Brest whose 14 dioramas by the artist Jim Sévellec recreate the streets and events of the city before 1939.
