House of Terror
The House of Terror is a museum at Andrássy Avenue 60, in the building that served as headquarters of the Arrow Cross Party in 1944 and later of the communist State Protection Authority (ÁVH). Opened in 2002, it presents the fascist and communist regimes in 20th-century Hungary, their victims, and reconstructed prison cells in the basement.
