Museum of Human Evolution

The Museum of Human Evolution, opened in 2010 on the south bank of the Arlanzón, was designed by the architect Juan Navarro Baldeweg. It presents human evolution through fossils and finds from the Sierra de Atapuerca sites, about 16 km away, and organises bus visits to the excavations and to an experimental archaeology centre.
