Barron Falls

Barron Falls, called Din Din in the Djabugay language, is a tiered waterfall where the Barron River drops from the Atherton Tableland towards the Cairns coastal plain, in Barron Gorge National Park near Kuranda. A weir above the falls feeds a hydroelectric station, so they run full mainly after wet-season rain; lookouts are reached by road, train and cableway.
