Rainforestation Nature Park

Rainforestation Nature Park is a 40-hectare park in the rainforest at Kuranda, north-west of Cairns, opened in 1976 on a former coffee and orange plantation. Visitors ride amphibious Second World War Army Ducks through the forest and across a lake, watch the Pamagirri Aboriginal dance performance and walk boardwalks past koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles and cassowaries.
