Birdworld Kuranda
Birdworld Kuranda is a walk-through aviary at the Kuranda Heritage Markets, in the rainforest village of Kuranda north-west of Cairns. Landscaped with waterfalls, ponds and native and exotic plants, it holds more than 350 birds of almost 60 species, from Australian cockatoos, galahs and rainbow lorikeets to South American macaws and an endangered southern cassowary.
