Carowinds

Carowinds is an amusement park of about 165 hectares on the state line between North and South Carolina, about 16 km south of downtown Charlotte; the border is painted across its entrance plaza. Opened in 1973, it has more than a dozen roller coasters, including the 99-metre Fury 325, and the Carolina Harbor water park.
