The Danish Jewish Museum is Libeskind's interpretation of the story of the flight of the Danish Jews in October 1943 and thus in itself contributes to the remembrance of the event. In the exhibition Bølger, både og birketræer (Waves, Boats and Birch Trees), we sharpen the focus on the 'monument' and set Libeskind's work in relation to other monuments that commemorate the story of October 1943.
