Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre lies near Morrison, southwest of Denver, in a park owned by the City of Denver. The open-air amphitheatre, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps to a design by Burnham Hoyt and opened in 1941, sits between two sandstone monoliths, Ship Rock and Creation Rock. On days without concerts visitors walk the seating, trails and visitor centre.
