57th Infantry Regiment Memorial

The 57th Infantry Regiment Memorial honours the Ottoman regiment that counter-attacked the Anzac landing on 25 April 1915 under Mustafa Kemal and lost about half its men. Opened in 1992, the complex has a three-storey memorial tower, a largely symbolic cemetery with soldiers' names, an outdoor prayer platform and a large relief of the attack.
