Anzac Cove

Anzac Cove is a 600-metre bay on the Gallipoli Peninsula where Australian and New Zealand troops landed on 25 April 1915 and kept their main base for the eight months of the campaign. Stone markers, the Ari Burnu Cemetery at its northern end and the Anzac Commemorative Site at North Beach, where the dawn service is held each 25 April, stand along the shore.
