St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church

St. Nicholas' Collegiate Church is a medieval church in the centre of Galway, founded in 1320 and dedicated to Saint Nicholas of Myra, patron of seafarers. It became a collegiate church in 1484 and is now the Church of Ireland parish church; Christopher Columbus is said to have worshipped here in 1477.
