Bigo

The Bigo is a white steel structure in the Porto Antico, designed by Renzo Piano for Expo 1992 and shaped after the derricks used to load ships. Its arms hold up the canopy of the Piazza delle Feste and carry a panoramic lift whose cabin rises to 40 metres and turns through 360 degrees over the port and the old town, with a recorded commentary.
