Kolb Studio

Kolb Studio is the wooden house and photography studio that the brothers Emery and Ellsworth Kolb built from 1904 on the rim at the head of the Bright Angel Trail, in Grand Canyon Village. They photographed mule riders setting off down the trail and filmed their 1911 boat journey down the Colorado. The restored building holds art and history exhibitions and a bookshop.
