Hopi House

Hopi House is a building in the form of a Hopi pueblo, opposite El Tovar Hotel on the South Rim in Grand Canyon Village. Mary Colter designed it for the Fred Harvey Company, and Hopi builders raised it in 1905 from local stone and timber, modelled on the village of Old Oraibi. It has always sold Native American arts and crafts, as it still does today.
