Lookout Studio is a stone building that Mary Colter designed in 1914 on the edge of the South Rim, west of Bright Angel Lodge in Grand Canyon Village. Built of local limestone so that it seems to grow out of the cliff, it served as a photographic studio and viewpoint; today it is a gift shop with terraces and telescopes facing the canyon.
