Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo

The Basilica of Sant'Ubaldo stands on Monte Ingino above Gubbio and keeps the body of Saint Ubaldo, the town's 12th-century bishop and patron, in a glass case above the high altar. Built with its convent in the early 16th century, it is the finish of the Corsa dei Ceri race every 15 May and is reached on foot or by the cable car from the town.
