Palazzo dei Consoli

The Palazzo dei Consoli is a Gothic civic palace on Piazza Grande in Gubbio, built between 1332 and 1349 to a design by Angelo da Orvieto on a terrace above the lower town. It houses the civic museum, which shows the Iguvine Tablets, bronze tablets inscribed in the ancient Umbrian language, with collections of ceramics, paintings and archaeology.
