Roman Theatre of Gubbio

The Roman Theatre of Gubbio is a 1st-century theatre of ancient Iguvium, built of squared limestone blocks just below the medieval town. The lower ring of arches still stands around a cavea that seated about 6,000 people, and some arches of the upper gallery survive. A nearby antiquarium shows a Roman house with a mosaic of Scylla.
