Heraklion Archaeological Museum

The Heraklion Archaeological Museum holds most of the finds from Knossos and the other Minoan sites of Crete. Its galleries cover the island from the Neolithic to Roman times, and among the exhibits are the Phaistos Disc, the snake goddess figurines and the frescoes from Knossos, including the bull-leaping scene.
