Hội An Old Town

Hội An Old Town is the preserved centre of a trading port on the Thu Bồn River that drew Chinese, Japanese and other foreign merchants from the 15th to the 19th century. Listed by UNESCO in 1999, it keeps over a thousand old timber houses, Chinese assembly halls, family chapels and the covered Japanese Bridge; a visitor ticket covers a set of these houses and halls.
